Cheerleading

General Information:
Eagle’s Wings Athletics offers recreational classes for anyone with the desire to cheer. Our cheerleading classes are for ages 3 and up and focus jumps, motions and tumbling. The focus of our recreational classes is to build skills as well as self-esteem. Athletes will also work on the strength and flexibility it takes to become the best cheerleader they can be.  We offer an 8:1 student/teacher ratio.

*Please wear a shirt that is either tight enough that it won’t come up while upside down, or a shirt that is long enough to be tucked in.

Pee Wee Cheer:
Weekly – 55 Minute Class

Ages 6 and under.  This class focuses on jump, motion and tumbling technique for your little cheerleader.  Athletes will even learn to stunt with other students in the class. Students will use the floor, trampoline and tumble trax to better their cheerleading skills.

Cheer Prep:
Weekly – 55 Minute Class

Ages 6 & up. This class is for athletes gearing up for cheerleading tryouts. This class focuses on jump, motion and tumbling technique you will need to make the squad.  As tryouts come closer, students are able to bring their cheer and dance music to the gym to practice and get critique before the big day!  Students will use the floor, trampoline and tumble trax to better their cheerleading skills.
